"Father" Bill Spicuglia is an accomplished bass player who has been making music for over 30 years! Live performance has taken Father Bill into juke joints, Jazz clubs, music festivals & concert halls.
Father Bill grew up listening to WWRL in New York City. His inspiration includes a variety of 50's, 60's and 70's rock, Blues, Jazz, British invasion, Booker T & the MG's, Marvin Gaye, The Funk Brothers and his best friends Gary & Paul. On stage Father Bill's pulsing bass lines will keep your body groovin' and his bent sense of (off stage) humor will leave a lasting impression!
His experience includes working with Blues/ Jazz artist Julie Black at live shows and in the studio on her critically acclaimed albums; Call Me Angel for Blues (BOJA 2007) & You Just Might Win (BOJA 2009) which can be heard around the world on XM/ Sirius Satellite Radio. He's also performed with Julie live on-air at Tampa Bay's WMNF 88.5 FM.
You may be wondering: Why DO they call him "Father Bill"?
Because he gives his friends fatherly advice & they ignore him. Just like they do with their real fathers!
